Robert Fabbrini is currently the President/CEO of Nugget Enterprises, Inc. a full service company for the Design, Installation and Service of Home Automation Systems. The company operates in northern Illinois and has done so for the last 7 years. Nugget Enterprises, Inc. specializes in both new construction and retrofit applications and products that range from entry level, to complex fully-automated home systems.

Robert’s career has centered around technology and finding solutions that provide value, make life safer, more comfortable and convenient. After majoring in Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, he spent four years in the Military. He was the Communications Officer onboard Destroyer where he was responsible for millions of dollars of communications equipment and ensuring that all shipboard communications functioned properly. After leaving the Navy he computerized the family business while pursuing an M.B.A. with specialization in M.I.S. (Management of Information Systems). Upon receiving his M.B.A., he began a career in the computer industry which he began as a Consultant and progressed to a Director position. Then, pursuing his passion, started Nugget Enterprises, Inc. The reader will find a wealth of knowledge on this website. It is the culmination of a lifetime of work. We hope you enjoy!

Automated Home and Security.com is a site dedicated to bringing the wealth of information in the Home Technology and Security fields to light and to help educate the reader on a number of topics relating to Home Automation and Security Systems. The site will attempt to make sense of all the technologies that are out there and how they can be applied to help solve problems or issues the reader has. We describe the different technologies, how they can be used, who makes them (the manufacturers), and where the technology can be found (useful websites). We will also be displaying a series of videos that will show the viewer how these technologies can be used.
